Five Course Farm-to-Fork Dinner with Special Musical Guest, Joey Burns of Calexico!

A special September Friday night you will NOT want to miss!! Enjoy the summer sky in a pristine setting overlooking the city of Boise that includes musical entertainment by Joey Burns of the internationally famous band, Calexico, a five-course farm-to-fork dinner paired with seasonal craft cocktails. Mark your calendar for Friday, September 8, 5:30-9:30pm.

The Music: Joey Burns is the singer and primary songwriter for Tucson, Arizona based Calexico. Named for the border town of Calexico, California, the band has been playing its unique mix of American, indie rock and Latin musical styles for over 20 years. The band’s sound, often dubbed “desert noir,” pulls from a multitude of traditions, primarily American folk and Latin dance. With over 12 studio albums to their credit, Calexico is known for their captivating live shows headlining premiere venues and festivals around the world. Anser is lucky enough to have Joey and his wife, Nova as a part of their parent community!

The Food: Six gracious and passionate Anser parents have curated an imaginative five course menu made up of seasonal items and signature cocktails that are sure to impress! A true farm-to-fork dinner, each course will highlight seasonal produce that is from the love and labor of local (Anser family) gardens as well as Peaceful Belly Organic Farm. You will get to enjoy the lovely courses curated by Shane and Hannah Newbill, Holly Funk, John Davidson and Emily Nielsen, Lindsay Biedel, Amanda Neill and AnnMarie Johnson, with produce and flowers compliments of Clay and Josie Erskine, founders and owners of Peaceful Belly Farm. Dietary considerations can be accommodated. Non-alcoholic cocktail options also available.
